Being a father of two, I have a soft spot for kids. I love it when big brands come together to deliver happiness to the little ones.

In this case, Nissan Philippines recently partnered with electronics manufacturer Realme to treat a group of kids from Make-A-Wish Foundation. As part of Nissan’s holiday-themed CSR (corporate social responsibility) caravan, the children were taken to Art in Island, Asia’s largest 3D museum in Quezon City.

In line with Nissan’s continued Blue Switch efforts utilizing vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology, the snack station on-site served ice cream courtesy of the Leaf EV. Furthermore, Realme gave away tablets, smartphones, and accessories to the children and the staff of the nonprofit organization.

Nissan Philippines president Juan Manuel Hoyos was delighted to take part in the outreach caravan: As brands that instill the importance of innovation and a daring spirit, Nissan is proud to partner with Realme Philippines in its efforts to spread the holiday cheer to the community. Using the capabilities of the Nissan Leaf, we continue to find innovative ways to utilize sustainable technology to inspire, delight, and improve the lives of Filipinos.

It is certainly wonderful to see how sustainable tech can serve the less fortunate and hopefully encourage other brands to follow suit.
