Dymag Technologies Limited has unveiled the Halo-X, a carbon hybrid performance wheel specifically designed for the 992-generation Porsche GT3 RS.

The wheel features a magnesium centerpiece and a carbon-fiber rim. The Halo-X has not only been intended as a track upgrade, but is also road-legal.

The Halo-X has sizes of 10J x 20” for the front and 13J x 21” for the rear (from the stock wheel dimensions of 9.5J x 20” and 12J x 21”, respectively), has an estimated weight of 7.14kg to 9.42kg, and has a load of 390kg to 830kg. Finishes include forged-weave, red, and blue tint.

“Halo-X represents the most advanced and exclusive production in our wheel history,” Dymag director Christopher Shelley shares. “Marking our 50th anniversary, this new wheel draws on half a century of racing successes—from F1, Indycar, and Le Mans through to World and Dakar Rally. It’s also the pinnacle of our production car program, which has seen Dymag adopted by OEMs, including Aston Martin and Koenigsegg, as well as aftermarket options for BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari. In developing this wheel as an upgrade for what is considered the ultimate road-legal track car, Dymag aims to demonstrate once more that our wheels set the standard for performance.”

The Halo-X is the first wheel following Borbet’s acquisition of Dymag Technologies earlier this year.

Dymag was established in 1974. It has been producing carbon motorcycle wheels since 1995 and carbon-hybrid automotive wheels since 2004.
