The 2022 Asian Games was supposed to take place in September 2022, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Mainland China (specifically Hangzhou). A year later, its 19th iteration will finally kick off on September 23, 2023, with the extra participation of Geely.

The 19th Asian Games will return to Mainland China after being held in Beijing (1990) and Guangzhou (2010) in prior years. After GAC provided vehicles for the games’ last Chinese visit, Geely became the obvious choice thanks to its home advantage in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

Geely has begun rolling out 2,000 units of its various models and marques, such as Galaxy, LEVC, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr, ready to transport athlete representatives from 45 countries—including the Philippines—to various sporting venues within the city.
