The hype has been building for a while now around Omoda. From an O-Universe lifestyle ecosystem to letting us sample the cars at its headquarters in Wuhu, China, whatever tactics Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines is doing is working to get the general public to talk about its vehicles.
The automaker has good news to announce as two actual units have arrived in our country, and these will be used for pre-launch activities and previews to build up to the brand’s schedule launch before the year ends.
In fact, Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines country director Marco Chen personally flew in from China to inspect the two units.
We also have confirmation that there will be four variants of the Omoda 5 arriving in our market: two ICE versions powered by a 1.5-liter turbo engine (top and entry specs), and two EV versions with a standard-range battery and an extended-range battery (capable of up to 450km of range on a single charge).
