Update 1.46 of Gran Turismo 7 is now available with three new cars, an additional Extra Menu item, three more World Circuits events, and a new Scapes location.
Skoda is an automaker that is making its debut in the Gran Turismo series. While the Czech brand is best known for its rally cars, players will be getting a concept car instead.
The Skoda Vision Gran Turismo is a single-seater all-wheel-drive electric vehicle, propelled by four 200kW electric motors (one per wheel) for a combined output of 800kW (1,073hp). It features a carbon monocoque and active aerodynamics for superior handling and performance.
Afeela is the result of a joint venture between Sony and Honda to produce electric cars. The brand debuted at last year’s Consumer Electronics Show with a single vehicle, which made its way to the game as the Afeela Prototype 2024.
The EV must be one high-tech car considering it’s aiming for autonomous driving. But all that players will really care about are its power and handling. Although not listed in-game, Afeela’s website says the AWD electric sedan has a total output of 360kW (483hp).
Unlike the previous cars, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Sport Coupe doesn’t need a lengthy intro as it is a returning model. The American muscle car is said to be popular for drag racing, with the in-game variant sporting a 7.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 LS6 with 449hp.
Extra Menu No. 38 has players collecting three Ferrari vehicles with 12-cylinder engines. Meanwhile, San Diego, California, has also been added as a new Scapes location.
If you haven’t updated your copy of Gran Turismo 7, then perhaps it’s time to turn on your PlayStation and get playing.
