Isuzu PH freshens up the D-Max with new touches

A new color called Islay Gray is introduced

As you know, Isuzu Philippines very quietly updated its Mu-X sport-utility vehicle last month. This weekend, the Japanese commercial vehicle maker presented the refreshed SUV to its customers in Alabang together with its pickup sibling, the D-Max—which is also the recipient of new touches to make the truck a little more interesting.

The D-Max gets a new two-tone front grille, new matte dark gray 18-inch alloy wheels, and a new black interior design.

A new color, Islay Gray, has also been introduced. This paint job, we must say, has to be seen in the metal if you are to really appreciate it.

If we understood the flyer that we got from the event correctly, the new features are found on the following variants:

  • New 3.0L D-Max 4×4 LS-E AT – P1,905,000
  • New 3.0L D-Max 4×4 LS-A MT – P1,700,000
  • New 3.0L D-Max 4×2 LS-A AT – P1,460,000
  • New 3.0L D-Max 4×2 LS-A MT – P1,390,000

Think the changes are too minor to even pay attention to? Give the update a chance. Like we said, the new paint job stands out. Put the D-Max on your short list if you’re in the market for a pickup. If nothing else, at least you still get the usual Isuzu durability and reliability.
