Toyota will give you a reward if you get someone to purchase a new Vios

Promo offer only applies to existing Toyota car owners

Listen up if you own a Toyota vehicle: Toyota Motor Philippines needs your help in selling the Vios subcompact sedan. Which means the Japanese automaker will reward you if you refer a fellow customer who will purchase a brand-new unit of the brand’s bread-and-butter model.

Here’s the deal: If you successfully bring a Vios buyer to any of Toyota’s 69 dealerships nationwide, you will get P5,000 worth of gift certificates “upon release of the unit.” And if the person you referred decides to get the car through Toyota Financial Services financing, you get an additional P3,000 of GCs. That’s a total of P8,000 in gift certificates, in case you’re too lazy to compute.

Now, the press announcement doesn’t say what the GCs are for exactly. We hope they’re the kind you can use to shop at regular stores and not ones you give back to Toyota in exchange for a few accessories or some repair work (although that wouldn’t be too shabby if that were the case).

There is no limit to the number of referrals, so the more friends you have who are interested in buying a Vios, the more chances of getting rewards

“If you have purchased any brand-new Toyota vehicle and you know someone who you think deserves to enjoy the great value and quality of the Vios, this program is for you,” TMP first vice president for brand and product planning Tini Arevalo says in the statement. “There is no limit to the number of referrals, so the more friends you have who are interested in buying a Vios, the more chances of getting rewards.”

In case you don’t have the time to accompany your referral to a Toyota dealer, you may get in touch with TMP’s Customer Assistance Center via [email protected] or (02) 819-2912.

The “Toyota Referral Rewards” program is in effect until July 31, 2019. Plenty of time to hone your sales talk. Good luck.
