All car buyers want to know which automotive brand is the best at making vehicles. We usually get this information from polls among private owners. While this practice is somewhat useful, we know another method to help us arrive at the answer to our question.

How about asking those who maintain transport vehicles? Which brand do they prefer to give them their money’s worth? These people will not mislead you—they choose whatever will give them good business.

Take Lungsod Silangan Transport Service and Multi-Purpose Cooperative for example. Maintaining over 100 modern PUVs to serve passengers along the Cogeo-to-Cubao route, the cooperative has just procured an additional 10 brand-new Isuzu NLR77 Class 2 PUVs to complement its hardworking fleet.

Equipped with a 4JH1-TC Blue Power Diesel engine with a torque of 230Nm, the NLR77 has a world-class body fabricated by Centro Manufacturing, air-conditioning by Country Cool, and an automated fare collection system by Beep.

“We trust Isuzu because of its strong after-sales support to its customers,” shared LSTSMPC general manager Arcadio Inso. “Parts availability is critical to our operations, and with Isuzu, we can be assured of minimal downtime for our units. The service costs are reasonable, and the extensive service packages give us confidence in our decision.”

Financing was facilitated by Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation.

“We are proud to be part of LSTSMPC’s journey toward modernizing public transport,” added Isuzu Manila branch head Art Silvestre. “As always, our focus remains on delivering the best after-sales service to ensure that our customers’ operations remain smooth and reliable.”

So you see, if you really want a trustworthy vote of confidence in a vehicle product, talk to those who purchase units not for personal luxury but for an enterprise. They will not bullshit you.
