It has been two years since Hyundai Motor Philippines burst onto the scene under new management. The man leading the charge was Lee Dong Wook, the company’s first president.
Now his time as president has come to an end, and he has switched places with Jiho Son since October 15.
Under Lee’s tenure, the brand was revitalized with at least 34 dealerships (as of this writing), and successfully introduced the likes of the Ioniq electric vehicles, the N high-performance brand, and most recently, two hybrid crossovers.
Prior to his assignment in the Philippines, Son served as head of Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) sales innovation group, and as head of sales in India and Asia-Pacific.
