During the first day of the 2023 Manila International Auto Show, all eyes were on Hyundai Motor Philippines as the Korean brand introduced the Ioniq 6. Hyped as “Electrified Streamliner,” this electric sedan has a sleek and stylish exterior ornamented with Hyundai’s 3D parametric lighting.

This EV runs on Hyundai’s Electric Global Modular Platform, similar to the Ioniq 5. While there are no official specs yet for our local model, Hyundai claims it has a maximum range of up to 545km with a 77.4kWh battery, and a top speed of 185km/h.

You’ll also be able to see a new variant of the Stargazer. Whereas higher-end models in its class try to be more SUV-like, Hyundai’s MPV gets a more premium six-seater with two captain’s chairs in the second row.

HMPH says the Ioniq 6 will be launched later this year with an estimated price of around P4 million.

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a Stargazer or a Creta, you can visit the exhibit for a P10,000 discount voucher for qualified purchases.
