It retails for P1,176,000 and is available to purchase now

Just because Toyota Motor Philippines has recently launched the Avanza and the Veloz doesn’t mean that it forgot about its three-row compact SUV called the Rush.

With the rest of the automaker’s lineup receiving GR-S variants, it’s now the turn of this humble family SUV to be “Gazoo-fied.” The Rush GR-S is a sportier take on the brand’s sensible, budget-friendly family hauler, which is now the car’s top-of-the-line trim.

To spruce things up outside, it sports a GR-branded bodykit such as the front splitter, the rear bumper, and the side molding. It also comes in three colors:

  • Black Metallic 1
  • Dark Red Mica Metallic
  • White 2

Inside, it gets a seven-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other niceties include an eight-speaker sound system, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and a reversing camera with parking sensors.

Underneath the hood, it still has the same 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 102hp and 134Nm, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. This variant will retail for P1,176,000, and is available at all 72 Toyota dealerships all over the country.
