Someone is already selling his/her/their Mercedes-AMG One

It’s literally brand-new with 0km on the clock

A supercar dealer in Dubai is apparently offering a Mercedes-AMG One for sale, in what might just be the first used model on the market.

Luxury car dealer F1rst Motors has all sorts of exclusive cars up for grabs, but one model is currently stealing the show on the firm’s online showroom. A “used” AMG-One is waiting for a new owner.

It’s pretty much in as-new condition, and has a listed mileage of 0km. It seems someone may have bought one of these rarer beasts and is trying to sell it on straight away, with an added premium despite the AMG sales contract usually not allowing such tactics.

Yes, someone is trying to flip an ultra-exclusive hypercar. Nothing new here. PHOTOS FROM F1RST MOTORS

Legally, there’s probably little the carmaker can do, as Dubai is well out of reach of German law. The dealer hasn’t listed the price on its website, but it’s safe to assume it will be substantially above the $2.75-million (P154-million) factory price tag.

Powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid V6 with four electric motors that produce a maximum power of 1,063hp, this 352km/h hypercar was sold out almost as quickly as it was announced.

Despite lengthy delays to its final production version and the start of manufacturing, all 275 units are already spoken for.

F1rst Motors claims that this is the first pre-owned AMG One for sale in the world, which is a claim that’s hard to substantiate but possibly true.

The lucky buyer of this machine can look forward to a proper Formula 1 feeling on public roads in a car that brought even the most skilled German engineering team almost to the end of their tether.

Getting so much F1 technology to work in a car that has to function as an everyday vehicle was a task that caused countless delays before it was finally and successfully tackled.

The dealer writes that this car was built in 2024, which is unlikely and it probably dates from 2023. It likely arrived in Dubai straight after the factory delivered it to the first owner, and the chances of a sale in ultra-rich Dubai are probably quite good.

Whoever flashes the most cash can join a very exclusive owners club that counts Lewis Hamilton, David Coulthard, Nico Rosberg, and Valtteri Bottas as its members. Want to be that person? Head over to F1rst Motors and ask for the price.
