The Mazda MX-5 is one of those cars that can be considered timeless, where driving dynamics and fun take priority over superfluous creature comforts. Of course, cars have to be refreshed every now and then to keep buyers interested.
Exactly one year ago, Mazda Philippines gave the small roadster a big update, with Kinematic Posture Control, a new color (Platinum Quartz), a new soft-top option (Dark Cherry), and a Terracotta Nappa leather trim option.
For 2023, the MX-5 receives a very subtle update, with the introduction of the Zircon Sand color (first seen on the CX-5 Turbo), a brown soft-top color option, and the introduction of Wireless CarPlay (but no wireless charging). This configuration will cost P2.35 million.
Buyers of the manual transmission variant will also be glad to know that they can get it with a black soft top and black leather upholstery, which will cost P2.2 million. This should allow potential buyers to have more combinations to play with.
