Have you tried them out?

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Department of Transportation have just inaugurated two new stations for the EDSA Carousel, located at Philam and Kamuning, both in Quezon City.

Additionally, a smart traffic surveillance system was also installed through the funding of the DOTr. It consists of 166 CCTV cameras that monitor the entire busway route from Monumento to Roxas Boulevard. This allows the MMDA to monitor the loading and unloading times of the buses, and to keep track of bus lane violations.

“The EDSA-Philam Station features elevators or manlifters to provide accessibility and convenience to passengers, especially senior citizens and persons with disabilities,” said MMDA chairman Don Artes.

It’s good that there are more terminals to encourage people to ride the EDSA Carousel. However, looking at the photos, is the Philam Station actually PWD-friendly, especially when one of the elevators is accessible from only one side?
