Significantly growing in number the past few years, Isuzu customers in Metro Cebu deserve better service and a bigger facility for their sales and after-sales requirements. To this end, Isuzu Philippines Corporation has decided—together with its partner in the province, Isuzu Cebu—to relocate the old dealership in Talisay to Minglanilla, where it will sit on a 3,500sq-m property.

A ground-breaking ceremony was held on March 8 for the new dealership, which will now be called Isuzu Cebu South. Location in Barangay Calajoan, the new site will see the start of construction in May this year, with the structure expected to be completed within 2018.

“This relocation is part of our continuing effort to strengthen and widen the service of Isuzu to our valued clients,” IPC president Hajime Koso says in a press statement. “We are proud that our dealer groups are continuously working toward extending their reach by bringing our products and services closer to their sales areas, like here in southern Cebu.”

The Isuzu Cebu South facility will include a five-unit showroom and a six-bay service area. Just the right amount of space for a dealer that grew by 82% in 2017, according to IPC.

“Our sales in the area has been consistently growing,” shares Isuzu Cebu general manager Steve Gingco. “To cope with the demand, we decided to relocate to a bigger and accessible area that will not only attract more sales but also increase our after-sales service capacity. Once the new facility is completed, we forecast to sell around 50 units per month.”
