Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has donated a Mirage G4 GLX MT and two L300 MT vehicles to support practical training programs for students taking up automotive technology courses.
The Laguna State Polytechnic University, the Bataan Peninsula State University, and the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology are the three recipients that will make use of the vehicles for education and training. The programs will involve equipping students with a hands-on experience with vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
A ceremony was held at the carmaker’s Santa Rosa Plant, and was graced by MMPC chairman Noriaki Hirakata and president and CEO Ritsu Imaeda. The heads of the three universities were also in attendance, together with members of the faculty and automotive technology students.

“At Mitsubishi Motors, we believe in nurturing future automotive professionals by providing them with the tools they need to succeed,” says Hirakata-san. “These vehicles will serve as an essential part of their learning journey.”
With the aim of contributing to the growth of the automotive industry, MMPC continues to support the workforce development of Filipinos by strengthening partnerships with educational institutions in the Philippines.
