Christmas is a time for people to spend time with their families, especially for those who have spent a significant amount of time away from their homes in order to provide. The pandemic has made it a whole lot harder in the past two years to come home.

But with the easing up of quarantine restrictions and intercity travel being gradually allowed, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has collaborated with smartphone maker Realme to allow two of our kababayans to spend time with their families during the holiday season.

This was part of the #realmeWithYou initiative. Two lucky people, Charmaine Bañez and Kathy Domingo, were randomly selected in a Realme Facebook post to receive all-expenses-paid trips from Navotas to Quezon (for Charmaine), and from Caloocan to Bulacan (for Kathy). Both of them were also gifted with care packages from the tech company.

The vehicles of choice used for the trips were the Xpander and the Strada Athlete. The former’s seven-seat cabin offers comfort for its passengers and plenty of space for cargo. On the other hand, the Strada Athlete is capable of going off the beaten path, and it still delivers a spacious cabin and a safe ride.

Watch this clip to see how Mitsubishi and realme lived up the automaker’s new slogan of “Life Made Better.” The #realmeWithYou campaign is a way for the tech firm to give back to the consumers for making it the number one smartphone brand for three consecutive quarters in 2021. Its past initiatives included a streaming tournament and a Christmas raffle with a Mirage G4 as grand prize.
