After-sales service is one of the factors that car owners prioritize after buying their cars. With the current heat index and the never-ending traffic, one can only have so much time (and patience) for the most important part of a vehicle’s life: maintenance.

With Ford Philippines bringing the Mobile Service Vehicle (MSV) to the country, the company is giving the option to its vehicle owners the ease and convenience of having their usual preventive maintenance with just a few taps on their smartphone (or a call to the dealership).

The MSV was properly demonstrated at the San Lorenzo Village Clubhouse in Makati to showcase an actual customer vehicle that was due for its 20,000km PMS. Included in the service were an oil change, brake clean, tire balancing, a filter change, and more done properly by Ford technicians.

The MSV is capable of doing almost 70% of repairs and maintenance. Whether for a simple oil change or a software update, customers need not go out of their way just to drive their vehicles to the service center.

The Mobile Service Vehicle is now being used by the American automaker globally, operating in countries like Thailand, India, South Africa, and Vietnam.
