Ford Philippines has just announced that it has a new parts distribution center in Calamba, Laguna, managed by DB Schenker.
With an area of more than 13,000sq-m, it has a storage capacity of up to 100,000 vehicle parts. And with a total of eight inbound and outbound docks, same-day deliveries can be fulfilled to dealers in Metro Manila and nearby areas.
“Our commitment to delivering a next-generation Ford ownership experience remains a priority,” said Ford Philippines managing director Mike Breen. “With our new Ford parts facility now fully operational, both our dealers and customers will have better and faster access to parts. We look forward to giving our customers more confidence and peace of mind in owning a Ford on the back of improved parts availability.”
We guess that Ford—historically one of the car brands with poor after-sales service—is now on its way to providing better customer experience.
