With certain businesses in GCQ (general community quarantine) areas now allowed to reopen, many are wondering whether it’s now truly safe to visit these establishments. That includes automotive dealerships, which are expected to receive many customers in the coming days as countless vehicles already need servicing. To assure the public that its showrooms and service centers are not health hazards, Toyota Motor Philippines has sent photos showing the precautionary measures it is now being implemented by its dealers.

These measures follow protocols established by the Department of Health and the World Health Organization, and require dealers to regularly disinfect the premises, rearrange the layout of common areas, and grant entry only to people with face masks.

“While we are facing challenging times, this also presents an opportunity to come back better and stronger, to review our current processes and find improvements, to constantly provide ever-better products and services, and to make the lives of our team members, customers and partners safer and more convenient,” TMP president Atsuhiro Okamoto says in a press statement. “The new normal will take a while to get used to, but together we can overcome this. Stay home, stay safe and please observe precautionary measures if you need to go out. We are working hard to prepare our dealerships and ensure that everyone will be safe upon their visit. We look forward to serving our valued customers again. See you at our dealerships.”
