MG Philippines has a new president with the appointment of Wei Wei Zhang. He will be succeeding Felix Jiang, who served as the pioneering president of SAIC Motor Philippines.

Zhang has extensive experience with the Southeast Asian market, having previously served as president of MG Indonesia and later as part of the ASEAN Partner Group at SAIC Motor’s headquarters in Shanghai. Meanwhile, Jiang will be reassigned Down Under to MG Australia.

“We are deeply grateful to Mr. Jiang for his visionary leadership and significant contributions to MG Philippines’ success,” said MG Philippines vice president Karl Magsuci. “At the same time, we are confident that Mr. Zhang’s experience, regional insight, and strategic vision will lead MG Philippines into its next phase of growth, further strengthening our commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable mobility solutions to our customers.”

A lot has happened during Jiang’s three-year tenure with the many models that MG Philippines has launched. We look forward to what Zhang will bring to the table in the coming year.
