The next-gen Ford Ranger Raptor will make its PH debut on May 18

Expect it to arrive with the 2.0-liter turbodiesel

After making a very, very sneaky appearance at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show, the new Ford Ranger Raptor is almost here. And we finally have confirmation that it will be officially launched in our market on May 18.

Of course, Ford Philippines is still tight-lipped on the details on the vehicle, but judging by what we saw at MIAS, the single-piped Raptor means that it will be coming with a 2.0-liter biturbo diesel engine with 210hp and 500Nm.

Of course, the pickup will continue to have its Baja-blasting pedigree thanks to uprated suspension bits, Fox dampers with new Live Valve shock absorbers, hyper-aggressive fenders, and chunky all-terrain tires for an in-your-face appeal that truck enthusiasts are crazy about.

For now, you’d better start preparing your checkbook for when Ford formally opens up pre-booking. Stay tuned for further updates.
