SAIC Motor Philippines has been continuously teasing two new offerings—the MG 3 subcompact hatchback and the G50 MPV as part of a buildup to their respective local debuts.

Well, the wait will be soon over, as both will be launched on June 4.

Kicking off the two-vehicle salvo is the MG 3, a small subcompact hatchback.

We already took a first look at it during the 2024 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival. The automaker has confirmed that it will come in a full hybrid option, which will prove to be a tantalizing offering for first-time car owners.

Second is the G50 Plus, a rather familiar face reentering the competitive MPV segment. There are no official specifications at the moment, but MG does say that it will “seat up to eight people comfortably” and provide “great fuel efficiency.”

Stay tuned for more details come the official launch.
