Manual-transmission Toyota GR Supra finally offered

A nice surprise, actually

I have been waxing lyrical about Toyota’s efforts to promote engaging cars now and in the years to come. By that, I mean cars with a manual transmission. GR86…check. GR Yaris…check. And now, you can tick the GR Supra.

So, we learn that the manual GR Supra is finally offered by Toyota Motor Philippines.

It was announced through Facebook and Viber. A bit of a surprise as there had been no expectation—not even a press release.

This should delight hardcore sports-car fans. FACEBOOK POST BY TOYOTA

Comparing specs between the AT and the MT, the only main difference (and what truly matters) is the six-speed manual with IMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission), which optimizes sporty performance through a computer software.

Colors are the same, and so are the prices: P5,552,000 for Prominence Red; P5,652,000 for Matte Storm Gray Metallic and Matte Avalanche White Metallic; and P5,612,000 for the rest of the colors.

Interested? The GR Supra 3.0 MT is available at Toyota GR Performance dealerships.
