You’ll be able to turn a regular Ioniq 5 N into one soon

Keen to get into the performance, tuning and customization business, Hyundai‘s N brand, one of the most hotly anticipated sub-brands to emerge from a major manufacturer, has unveiled its Ioniq 5 N NPX1 concept at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon.

The NPX1 concept previews more performance and customization parts for Hyundai’s soon-to-grow lineup of EV models, which include the Ioniq 5 N.

Hyundai N’s NPX1 concept previews N-specific components that will be made available for purchase from a catalog of N Performance Parts soon. The initial offering of parts features a carbon-fiber front splitter, matching side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a rear wing spoiler.

Tasty and ultra-lightweight hybrid carbon wheels, high-performance brake pads, and sportier and firmer lowering springs round out the accessories offerings. The NPX1 concept on display is further customized with rich Alcantara material in the cabin and racing bucket seats.

Here’s hoping the NPX1 concept also carries over to Hyundai’s ICE-powered lineup of N Cars and even to the non-N-branded models to give regular Hyundai owners some factory tuning flair.
