5 motorcycles we’d love to unwrap for Christmas

I have been a good boy, Santa

Every motorcyclist dreams of a personalized garage, filled with different bikes for different adventures. Like collecting shoes, each motorcycle serves a distinct purpose and evokes unique emotions. Whether cruising, touring, or off-roading, a curated collection caters to every riding style.

As a seasoned motorcycle enthusiast, I still fantasize about adding coveted bikes to my collection. Although budget constraints limit me, I’d jump at the chance to select just five.

Below is my dream lineup.

The Ducati Multistrada V4S is my choice for the long haul. PHOTO FROM DUCATI

Ducati Multistrada V4S. This bike tops my wish list as the ultimate long-distance tourer. An upgrade from my Multistrada 950S, the V4S boasts cutting-edge features perfect for traversing the Philippines. Its impressive specs, comfortable pillion seating, and powerful performance align perfectly with my spirited riding style and youthful enthusiasm, making it my dream adventure companion.

The V4S has everything—tech, comfy seating, and power to spare. It’s my perfect match: youthful energy meets pure adrenaline!

The Harley-Davidson Iron 883 takes my cruiser spot in the garage. PHOTO FROM HARLEY-DAVIDSON

Harley-Davidson Iron 883. This bike is the epitome of cool—especially in blacked-out form. This iconic cruiser would be the crown jewel of my garage. I envision lazy Sunday mornings cruising through Perea Moto District, dressed down in a white tee and jeans, and stopping for coffee in Makati City.

But what really draws me to the 883 is its potential for customization. I’d spend hours and plenty of cash tweaking and upgrading, making it a true reflection of my personality.

The CFMoto 450MT is a multi-terrain, versatile, go-anywhere motorcycle. PHOTO BY MAKI AGANON

CFM0t0 450MT. This bike has won me over as the ultimate Swiss Army knife bike. Its versatility shines in daily city commutes, effortlessly handling errands, meetings, and quick Tanay back-road adventures during my free time.

This middleweight adventure bike expertly navigates road bumps, heavy traffic, and tight spaces. Its soft clutch reduces fatigue, while its compact size and expressway legality make it perfect for zipping through Metro Manila’s Skyway.

The Honda ADV160 is the perfect daily workhorse for the weekday warrior. PHOTO FROM HONDA

Honda ADV160. This scooter narrowly edges out the Yamaha NMax for me due to its off-road capabilities, perfect for Manila’s unpredictable roads. This rugged scooter would be my go-to daily ride, ideal for errands and grocery runs fixed with a 65L top box.

Its versatility and reliability make it a workhorse, while its sleek design adds flair. Plus, it’d make a great personal Angkas to fetch my wife from work. This is also a good companion for short scooter journeys, simple back roads, and quick breakfast ride up in the mountains.

The Yamaha Serow 250 is the ‘goat’ for a reason. This bike is ready for anything. PHOTO FROM YAMAHA MOTOR PHILIPPINES

Yamaha Serow 250. This bike is my top pick for an all-around bike, despite being slightly heavy for trail-riding. Its versatility knows no bounds, effortlessly handling weekend offroad adventures, city escapes, and casual touring. It is powerful yet fuel-efficient.

I’d use it to flee the urban chaos and connect with nature. Its adaptability shines, easily transforming into a motard, dirt bike, or dual-sport bike, making it perfect for any ride.

Dear Santa, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll wake up to find my dream bikes in my garage.

With so many amazing bikes out there, everyone’s wish list is unique. Now I’m curious…what’s on your list?
