The Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) is a biannual meeting of delegates in the Asian and Australasian regions discussing reducing calamities and victims around the Pacific Ring of Fire. The Philippines will host this year’s conference on October 14-18, and Toyota Motor Philippines is in charge of mobility duties.

Mobilizing ministers and representatives to the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City are two Toyota Coaster and 25 Camry Hybrid units, aligning with the Japanese brand’s carbon neutrality goals for 2050.

According to TMP president Masando Hashimoto: “Toyota believes that electrified mobility is one of the pathways toward a sustainable future for all. We are committed to helping address climate change and promote climate-related risk reduction.”
