Blessings keep pouring on double Olympic gold medal winner Carlos Yulo. He has now officially received his Land Cruiser Prado from Toyota Motor Philippines.

In a simple turnover ceremony, TMP handed over the keys of the popular SUV in White Pearl Mica finish to the gymnast. The event was held at the company’s manufacturing plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

No less than TMP president Masando Hashimoto and vice chairman Dr. David Go officially awarded Yulo the latest incentive for his historic wins. A very happy Caloy posed with his new car as well as with TMP employees.

Yulo was also toured inside TMP’s manufacturing plant, where he saw how Philippine-made Toyota units like the Vios, the Innova, and the upcoming Tamaraw were built.

Caloy was part of Toyota’s “Start Your Impossible” global campaign in April 2024, leading up to the Paris games. He was chosen as the country’s representative with Paralympic swimmer Ernie Gawilan.

Yulo was legendary for his performance in the biggest sporting event in the world. And it is only fitting for him to get an equally legendary vehicle so desirable that people are lining up to get their hands on one.

The Land Cruiser Prado is powered by a 2.4-liter engine that produces 277hp and 430Nm of torque. Yulo personally picked the White Pearl Mica color, one of the three available hues of the SUV for the Philippine market.
