Among watch enthusiasts and collectors, the term “new old stock” is quite popular. It refers to timepieces that are old in terms of the year they were released, but still technically brand-new as they’ve simply remained in the seller’s inventory. We like these pieces because they’re mostly hard to find already, and also because they’re usually priced lower than when they first came out.

The same is true in the automotive world. If you can find a NOS vehicle that has an attractive price tag, we say go for it. Unfortunately, you will need an inside contact within the automaker if you are to learn about its NOS units just sitting quietly in the warehouse. These cars often just end up being sold to employees, their relatives or their friends.

Well, Honda fans have something to cheer about: Honda Cars Philippines has a sales promo involving NOS cars for this month of July. Six vehicle variants from 2017 to 2019 model years are now being offered at significantly discounted prices.

Note that these cars are 100% new (read: unused). They’re just “old” when it comes to their model year, which means fresher versions have already been released.
