MG PH and Maybank tie up for nice EV offers

Good for this month of April

We often wonder how hard it must be to sell a new car right now. That’s because the motoring industry is simply overflowing with a lot of offerings—new and old brands, gasoline and diesel, electric and ICE. We definitely do not envy our friends working for the sales and the marketing departments of auto companies.

So, what do you do if you’re the bosses of MG Philippines? How do you move the full-electric models in your product lineup?

How about partnering with a bank to come up with a creative promo to sell your vehicles?

That’s exactly what’s MG is doing with Maybank. For the entire month of April, these three MG EVs can be had either at a 0% interest or with a 20% down payment: MG 4 EV, MG ZS EV, and MG Marvel R.

In summary, the MG electric cars are being offered with the following:

MG 4 EV (Lux and STD)

  • Option 1: 0% interest for 12 months (based on applicable down payment)
  • Option 2: Free chattel mortgage, free one-year insurance, low add-on rate

MG ZS EV

  • Option 1: 0% interest for 12 months (based on applicable DP) and free chattel mortgage
  • Option 2: Free chattel mortgage, free one-year insurance, low add-on rate

MG Marvel R (AWD and RWD)

  • 20% down payment, low add-on rate, free chattel mortgage

“We at MG have been at the forefront of sustainable mobility in the past years,” says MG Philippines vice president for operations Karl Magsuci. “And now with Maybank as our partner, we are even more confident to see more EVs on the road in the very near future.”

Now, the question is whether the above promo perks are enough to make you consider MG as a car brand, and also to convince you to cross over to full-electric vehicles. Only you can determine that.
