If you buy the GAC GM8 minivan now, you get the GA4 sedan for free

This reminds us of that buy-an-MPV-get-a-Miata promo in the ’90s

With car sales having drastically slowed down due to the pandemic, you can expect a lot of fantastic sales deals from automakers to boost their business. What better way to entice buyers than to offer them a “buy one, take one” promo. Which is exactly what GAC Motor Philippines is doing.

Tearing a page straight out of the playbook used by Mazda’s previous distributor—which gave away a Miata for every purchase of an MPV (that was really the model name) in the 1990s—the Chinese car brand is throwing in a GA4 compact sedan if you get yourself a GM8 premium minivan. You read that right: Buy a GM8, get a GA4 “absolutely for free.” The asking price? P2,980,000.

The GM8 GT 2.0 Turbo that is part of the package is priced at P2,980,000, while the GA4 1.5 AT that is being bundled with it goes for P858,000. That’s a lot of savings—assuming you were considering these vehicles in the first place.

The offer is good until July 26, 2020. Any takers? Click here for the vehicle specs.
