As part of its corporate social responsibility, Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) collaborated with the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) for a tree-planting project.
Dubbed “Dream Green,” this initiative aims to plant 5,000 mangroves in Barangay Lumaniag in Lian, Batangas, by the end of this year. It is also part of Hyundai Motor Company’s global campaign to plant “Ioniq Forests” in line with its goal for a cleaner and more sustainable future.
“Today is just one of the many examples of how our vision extends far beyond being an automotive company,” said HMPH president Jiho Son. “We feel a strong responsibility to contribute to a more sustainable future for all. This belief is what inspired HMPH to take part in this project where we aim to plant 5,000 mangroves today as part of 55,000 trees by 2028 in our road map. We look forward to achieving this goal alongside RAFI.”
