Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) seems to be on a roll in collaborating with various government agencies. The Department of Social Welfare and Development got four H-100 units; the Department of Science and Technology received three Starias; and the Makati LGU chose the Ioniq 5 to be part of its emergency-response fleet.

The latest organization is the Philippine National Police (PNP), which received five Hyundai Stargazers on November 27 at Camp Crame.

According to PNP chief police general Rommel Francisco Marbil, the new units of the seven-seater MPV will be used to support the administrative operations of the PNP Command Group and the Directorate for Logistics.

“As you know, the PNP plays a vital role in maintaining peace and order in our communities,” said HMPH president Jiho Son. “Which is why we at Hyundai are deeply committed to providing modern, efficient, and reliable vehicles that can help strengthen the PNP’s operations, and allow them to respond more swiftly and effectively to the needs of our citizens.”

We hope these new vehicles will be put to good use to serve and protect Filipinos.
