In 2016, Ford Philippines first opened a 110sq-m training facility within the Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati campus. However, as it pushes toward electrification, the American car brand decided to find a larger location for a suitable learning space.
To keep pace with the fast-changing market, the new Ford Learning Center opened in Calamba, Laguna, on June 26. The new 1,500sq-m facility features an air-conditioned mechanical bay area, modular classrooms and meeting rooms, and world-class tools that meet global standards.

Technician and non-technician students can learn about the inner workings of current Blue Oval models, whether powered by internal-combustion engines, hybrid systems, or fully electric power. Meanwhile, the dedicated showroom space offers dealer personnel and advisors proper customer service training.

“The opening of the Learning Center is not just about opening a new building—it is about building the future of Ford in the Philippines,” said managing director Pedro Simoes. “It represents our strong commitment to this market—to our customers, our partners, and our people.”

Ford Philippines has also appointed Pushparaj Muthusamy as director of the customer service division. His role, according to Simoes, is to continue modernizing service offerings, building long-term customer loyalty, and enhancing the Ford ownership experience with a focus on after-sales.
“As vehicle technologies rapidly evolve—from advanced connectivity to sophisticated safety features and electrified systems, our dealership teams must be equipped with the highest level of technical mastery, product knowledge, and customer-handling skills,” Muthusamy. “We are confident that this Ford Learning Center can help standardize, elevate, and future-proof our operational capabilities.”
