Ford Philanthropy and Ford Philippines have donated a Ranger Sport 4×4 to Gawad Kalinga. The vehicle will be used to transport volunteers and goods during emergency responses and relief operations.
The turnover was held during the launch of “Ford Building Together” at the GK Headquarters in Mandaluyong City. This is a global initiative that brings together the brand’s volunteer and dealer network to serve communities with nonprofit partners.

Even before the launch of this initiative, Ford Philippines has been collaborating with GK. During Operation Walang Iwanan, more than 11,500 individuals affected by disasters were supported from 2024 to 2025, with the distribution of relief goods and emergency equipment. Meanwhile, Operation Better World focuses on long-term community development with medical, nutrition, and educational programs.
The occasion also marked the renewed partnership with Scholars of Sustenance Philippines. This food rescue organization promotes food security and reduces food waste in Nueva Vizcaya by redistributing surplus food from businesses to communities.
“Strong communities are built through strong partnerships,” said Ford Philanthropy president Mary Culler. “By working closely with local leaders and volunteers, we are able to respond to urgent needs while helping create long-term opportunities for families.”
