More information for Toyota Motor Philippines’ annual e-sports event, the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup Philippines 2024, has been released.

First off, participants need to register at this link. They must be Filipino citizens and in the Philippines at the time of the tournament, and they must have a valid Philippine passport.

The minimum age limit is 14 years old, and any minors (17 and below) obviously must have permission from their guardians to participate (otherwise, they will be disqualified).

Applicants need to have a copy of Gran Turismo 7 on either PlayStation 4 or 5, and an active PlayStation Network account with an ongoing PS Plus subscription (alongside an active Facebook account).

The most important part is—if they aspire to make it to the Asia finals—they must have completed at least three of the seven global qualifiers.

Round 5 was held last July 14 using the SF23 Super Formula cars at the virtual Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP. The last two online global qualifying rounds will be held on August 11 with the GR Yaris at Grand Valley South, and on August 25 using select Group 3 cars at Fuji Speedway.

The local qualifiers will happen from July 26 to August 3 (both online and offline), where the top 40 players will advance to the quarterfinals, which will be held on August 17. Those who did not complete at least three global qualifiers will still be eligible to join the competition.

On August 18, the top 20 players will race at the semifinals, which will also see the top 10 players advance to the national finals.

Finally, the top 3 racers will make it to the Asia finals, which will be held in Malaysia. Good luck!
