This is the auctioneer's first ever car event

Car auctions are nothing new. If you’ve ever experienced buying used trucks or buses, for example, you’ve probably been to one. But auctions are also commonly used when selling vehicles that tickle the automotive fancy. If you’re on the lookout for a relatively affordable weekend toy, check out the collection of vehicles on display at the Shangri-La Plaza shopping mall in Mandaluyong.

Gallery BiG, the country’s first ever online auctioneer specializing in art and luxury goods, is holding its inaugural car sale called BiG Car Auction. And given the company’s portfolio, its listings aren’t just your run-of-the-mill sedans and hatchbacks. There is a selection of luxury vehicles and sports cars up for grabs, and we’re particularly gravitated toward a tasty Porsche 911 (993) that’s quite difficult to find these days

The cars will be on display at the ground floor of Shangri-La Plaza’s East Wing so you can have a closer look at them before you make a decision. There is also a Porsche 550 Spyder and a Shelby Cobra under the spotlight but unfortunately, these aren’t for sale.

The live auction will start at 4:30pm on December 11, and will be hosted by James Deakin. To register as a bidder, complete this online form and wait for Gallery BiG’s confirmation. For more details, you may contact (0977) 826-5953, (0919) 002-9451 or (0977) 826-5943.
