The father of the GT-R will also make a guest appearance

Nissan Philippines has offered a lineup ranging from bangin’ off-roaders to legendary sports cars and economy consumer models in between. However, the Japanese brand hasn’t really celebrated its heritage over the years…until now.

The “Nissan Festival” is bringing a slice of the Nismo Festival right to our backyard—at the Clark International Speedway, to be exact. Visitors and owners will be treated to a Sunday of fun activities, including test drives and car club parade laps, while showcasing the brand’s motorsport roots and latest offerings.

Hopefully, the fanfare will reach this level. PHOTO BY JUSTIN YOUNG

Also in attendance will be Hiroshi Tamura, the chief product specialist for the venerable R35 GT-R. Enthusiasts can meet him and ask burning questions about the 18-year run of the legendary sports car. Some fans could even have a chance to sit beside the father of the GT-R and hit the track.

The event will take place on February 1 (Sunday), with doors opening at 10am.

Are you prepared to experience the gathering of Godzillas, Fairladies, and many more?
