The Suzuki Swift gets refreshed in PH for 2022

Minor updates keep the iconic hatchback up-to-date

One of Suzuki Philippines’ popular hatchback nameplates, the Swift, has gotten a refresh to keep things a little interesting for 2022.

It’s not a drastic overhaul, but the front bumper grille pattern now struts a “studded net pattern” for a sportier look (in line with the growing sporty mesh grille trend). The interior also receives a new eight-inch infotainment system with capacitive touch buttons and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support.

It is still powered by the same 1.2-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine (K12M) mated to a CVT, and will only be offered in the GL trim. Finally, there’s a backing-up camera with parking sensors to make it easier to park and maneuver in tight spaces.

It costs P844,000, and will be available in Pure White Pearl, Speedy Blue Metallic, Mineral Gray Metallic, and Ablaze Red Pearl. Interested? You can visit any of the 71 Suzuki car dealerships nationwide or this website.
