The Lexus LBX is coming very soon to PH

Owners can expect to take deliveries starting March 18

After its global unveil in June last year, the Lexus LBX was initially assumed to be a model that would satisfy the European and Japanese markets more than the growing Philippine market. However, Lexus Philippines confirms that the subcompact luxury crossover will see the light of day on local roads next week, March 18.

The LBX runs on the TNGA-B platform used internationally in other subcompact offerings like the Yaris Cross for Japan, Europe, and Australia (unrelated to our Yaris Cross). Powering this 4,190mm hatchback is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder gasoline hybrid engine mated to an eCVT that produces a combined figure of 134hp.

Its interior doesn’t deviate from the norm of the brand. The dashboard is laid out in a simple yet luxurious fashion with various leather materials, Tsuyusami charcoal-effect trim accents, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display.

The latest version of Lexus Safety System+ is installed in all model trims with such features as the pre-collision system, proactive driving assist, and dynamic radar cruise control.

Prospective owners can start availing of this hybrid luxury crossover by Monday of next week, with more details to follow.
