How’s this to build hype for the upcoming Philippine International Motor Show?

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines is one-upping the rest of the manufacturers as it plans to hold the world premiere of its newest concept vehicle at our local motor show.

The company says this latest concept is a seven-seater SUV that “embodies the brand’s commitment to providing fulfilling mobility lifestyles that awaken the adventurous spirit of drivers and provide excitement for everyone onboard.”

Global debuts normally happen in other major ASEAN markets like Thailand or Indonesia, such as the Triton and the Xforce.

But the Philippines is now the focus of Mitsubishi, and to debut a major concept car on our shores shows how the brand places importance on our market, considering how it posted record sales in our country last fiscal year.

Our guess? This might as well be the latest iteration of the Montero Sport, considering its basis just got a major revamp earlier this year.
