The Creta was one of the first models unveiled by the newly formed Hyundai Motor Philippines in 2022, marked as the new affordable model within the local lineup. After starting in India last year, the facelifted subcompact crossover made its Southeast Asian debut in Indonesia earlier this January.
Since our local units are sourced there, it wouldn’t be until about five months later until the Korean giant brings the new face to Philippine shores.

The updated Creta now features a new look, deviating from the last-generation Palisade inspirations and moving toward a more distinct corporate design. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) remain standard for the GL, the GLS, and the Premium models.
However, the newest addition to the lineup is the N Line model equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine capable of 158hp and 253Nm, and mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Other styling differences from the regular version include redesigned bumpers and accents, 18-inch wheels, and a rear wing.

Other upgrades include the new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster (4.25 inches for the GL) and the 10.25-inch infotainment screen (eight inches for the GL) in a seamless floating layout.
Much like last time, the trunk capacity remains at 433L with the second-row seats up, and 1,401L with seats down. Hyundai SmartSense is fully equipped in the Premium and the N Line, featuring blind-spot collision assist, forward-collision avoidance assist, and lane keeping and following assist.

The refreshed Creta ranges between the P1.1- and P1.4-million ballpark, with prices of the GL and the GLS slashed compared to when they were first launched.
- GL – P1,134,000
- GLS – P1,254,000
- Premium – P1,333,000
- N Line – P1,379,000
Now with a more enticing appearance and range of trim levels, is the Creta in consideration for your next ride?
