This year’s Manila International Auto Show will be held from April 9 to 12 with 25 brands participating. One brand you’ll want to check out is Radar. This sub-brand of Geely is distributed by the UAAGI Auto Group, and it specializes in electric pickups. Currently, the RD6 is the only available model with two powertrains available.

The RD6 Econ is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) powered by either a 63kWh or 73kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery. The rear-wheel-drive variant produces 242hp and 309Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the four-wheel-drive variant has an additional 134hp motor powering the front wheels, allowing it to have a maximum torque of 485Nm.

On the other hand, the RD6 EM-P 4WD is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) with a combined output of 457hp and 659Nm. This is achieved with a 1.5-liter Thor Hybrid Special Engine and dual electric motors at the front and the rear. It can go as far as 82km on electric power alone, but this goes up to more than 1,000km with the combustion engine.

As a workhorse, the RD6 boasts a payload capacity of 800kg for the EM-P, and up to 1,160kg with the Econ. Both variants have a ground clearance of at least 220mm and a wading depth of 815mm. The standard bed length is 1,525mm, but the one of the Econ 2WD 73kWh variant is even longer at 1,765mm.

“The Radar EV pickup’s first appearance at MIAS 2026 marks a meaningful step forward for pickup truck customers,” said Radar Philippines brand head Franz Decloedt. “The cost efficiencies of the PHEVs and the BEVs matter now more than ever.”

You can find Radar Philippines as part of the UAAGI West Wing display at World Trade Center Metro Manila, where it will join the distributor’s other brands such as BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour, and Lynk & Co. For prospective buyers, there will be test drives, on-site trade-ins, and same-day bank approvals.
