Ford Philippines is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) lineup with the introduction of the Mustang Mach-E Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD).

This limited-edition variant features a single 272hp motor with 525Nm of torque. Whereas the all-wheel-drive version has a maximum range of 550km, this one can go as far as 615km with a single charge. You basically sacrifice all-out acceleration for better efficiency and range.

The Mustang Mach-E RWD has three driving modes: Whisper, Engage, and Unbridle. This lets you adjust the driving dynamics, whether you want a chill ride or a more exhilarating experience. Meanwhile, the 1-Pedal Drive system uses regenerative braking to efficiently recover energy when slowing down.

“The arrival of the Mustang Mach-E RWD underscores our commitment to bringing the best of Ford’s global electric lineup to the Philippines,” said Ford Philippines managing director Pedro Simoes. “By offering the RWD variant, we are providing our customers with a choice that emphasizes efficiency and long-range capability, all while maintaining the exhilarating performance and the head-turning design that makes the Mach-E a true Mustang.”

The Ford Mustang Mach-E RWD has an SRP of P3,199,000. But you can get it for as low as P2,599,000 thanks to a P500,000 cash discount and an additional P100,000 cash discount for the Grabber Yellow color. It is available at the following dealers: Ford Alabang, Ford Balintawak, Ford Cebu, Ford EDSA, Ford Global City, Ford Libis, and Ford Marikina.
