Buyers looking for a budget scooter bearing the Honda badge will love that the all-new Dio has an SRP of just P49,900. Yes, you read that right. Of course, the entry-level scooter must do with some cost-cutting measures to meet the price point. For the Dio, that means a carburetor, smallish 10-inch tires, and drum brakes.

Still, the little two-wheeler promises a satisfying ride nonetheless with its 109cc SOHC engine rated at 8hp and 8.91Nm. Honda claims up to 58.3km/L of fuel efficiency, which means you’ll get a respectable range from its 5.3-liter tank.

An analog gauge is par for the price point, and the Dio has practical features like a secure key shutter with seat opener, front and rear hooks, and a 14.4L U-box under the seat. An LED headlight and position lamp add some pizzazz. The motorcycle comes in three colors: Candy Jazzy Blue, Sports Red and Vibrant Orange.

The Honda Dio is now available at all Honda motorcycle dealerships nationwide.
