In Pangasinan, a new restaurant is a shrine to motorcycles

It was kind of strange that the first restaurant we ate at yesterday during a road-trip event using an eco-friendly car was a new place called Red Baron Restobar and Bikes located in Paitan West in Sual, Pangasinan. Just recently opened on January 18, the motorway joint is visibly a tribute to grown (and possibly bearded) men’s two-wheeled passion that is anything but economical.

We discovered this thanks to the itinerary prepared for us by BYD Cars Philippines for an out-of-town test drive of the Seal 5.

You will easily mistake the restaurant for a museum. The place is teeming with vintage motorbikes.

The owner is 73-year-old Stephen John Carson, an Australian married to a Filipina. A marine engineer by profession, he has worked in the Philippines since 1993. He will gladly chat with you about his collection, and will even offer to take your picture with any bike you fancy.

The memorabilia—photos, posters, trading cards, clothing—should be worth the trip for the gang.

The restaurant has a sprawling parking area that is ideal for big riding groups.

If motorcycles are your life’s hobby, you should visit the Red Baron with your riding buddies. Check out this website if you want to book a table.

Most guys buy dream motorcycles when they fall deep in love with the riding lifestyle. One man, thankfully, put up an establishment to cater to the pursuit.
