The iconic automobiles will be available as two-wheelers

The Bronco and the Mustang are two of Ford’s most iconic automobiles. Now, the Blue Oval has collaborated with N+ to release electric bikes inspired by these two models: the Bronco eBike and the Mustang eBike.

The 750W hub motor provides up to 85Nm of torque, and is powered by a 48V, 15Ah battery for a maximum range of up to 96.6km. The motor speed maxes out at 32km/h with the throttle, and 45km/h with pedal-assist in compliance with US regulations.

Shifting is done with a nine-speed Shimano Cues mechanical drivetrain. Stopping power is provided by quad-piston Tektro hydraulic brakes with 203mm rotors. Both e-bikes have full suspension with the Mustang and the Bronco weighing 31kg each.

The key difference between the two is that the Bronco eBike is made for the dirt, while the Mustang eBike is a pavement princess. The former features a motocross-style saddle and rear suspension, and rolls on 27.5-inch by 2.6-inch enduro tires. The latter has tarmac-tuned air-sprung shocks and 27.5-inch by 2.25-inch semi-slick tires.

The Bronco eBike starts at $4,500 (P257,000) in Area 51 paint. Meanwhile, the Mustang eBike begins at $4,000 (P228,000) in Carbonized Gray Metallic.

Any other color will cost an additional $390 (P22,300). The Mustang eBike also gets a limited edition in commemoration of the pony car’s 60th anniversary.

If you happen to live in the USA, these Ford e-bikes are available for preorder on a dedicated website.
