Back in June 2024, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) launched the Mitsubishi Xforce to enter the subcompact-crossover market. Now, a more affordable variant has just been released with the Xforce GLX.

MMPC promises that the new GLS variant offers all the good stuff of the Xforce at a more attainable price point of P1,119,000.

Unlike the GLS and GT variants, this one comes with 17-inch wheels, fabric seats, and an eight-inch infotainment screen with a six-speaker audio system. Don’t worry, as there is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. In terms of safety features, the Xforce GLX has Mitsubishi’s famed active yaw control, front and side airbags, and a reverse camera.

The GLS variant has also received a few updates. The seats are now upholstered in leather with Heat Guard to maintain comfort even under the harsh sun. Cruise control is now present, but it’s not the same as the active cruise control found in the top-of-the-line GT variant. Finally, the GLS gets a multi-around monitor to assist the driver when navigating through tight spaces.

“The Xforce has been well received by Filipino customers for its eye-catching design and elevated comfort,” said MMPC president and CEO Ritsu Maeda. “With the introduction of the new GLX variant and updating the other variants, we are enhancing the lineup to give more customers the opportunity to experience the XForce and find the variant that best fits their lifestyle and needs.”

The Mitsubishi Xforce GLX is available in four colors: Quartz White Pearl (plus P15,000), Graphite Gray Metallic, Blade Silver Metallic, and Red Metallic.
