Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has just announced that the Pajero will be coming back this fall. This is one of the most iconic nameplates to bear the three-diamond badge, thanks to its success in the Dakar Rally. The SUV was available from 1982 until 2021, selling more than 3.25 million units in over 170 countries.

This time, the Pajero will be based on the ladder frame of the Triton, with a model-specific development for the cabin, as well as the front and rear suspension. Based on the teaser photo, the iconic SUV will bear the Dynamic Shield fascia and the T-shaped headlights, similar to the Xforce and the Destinator.
