VinFast has finally revealed the pricing of its first electric scooter lineup for the Philippine market.

When the Vietnamese manufacturer first announced its plans to brings its electric two-wheelers to our market, it promised to introduce affordable and economical mobility solutions for Filipino commuters. It appears that promise is now taking shape.

VinFast is also offering a one-year free battery subscription along with 20 complimentary battery swaps per month.

For now, pricing has been revealed for the first three models in the lineup.

Although the three models share very similar performance figures on paper, actual riding range will largely depend on riding habits. As with any electric vehicle, aggressive acceleration and higher speeds consume more battery power and can significantly reduce the advertised range.

We had the opportunity to ride these models during a visit to VinFast’s factory in Vietnam, and the experience felt surprisingly familiar. In terms of handling and ergonomics, they behave much like conventional scooters. The biggest difference is the absence of engine vibration.

For many riders, vibration provides feedback that helps them interpret acceleration and engine behavior. Electric scooters deliver power differently, resulting in a smoother and quieter riding experience that may take some getting used to.

The suspension setup also appears to be designed with real-world conditions in mind. During our test ride, the scooters felt capable of handling uneven roads, potholes, and even flooded streets—conditions that are all too common in the Philippines.

With pricing that closely matches traditional gasoline-powered scooters, VinFast may be able to attract commuters looking to cut fuel costs. The bigger challenge, however, is infrastructure as charging and battery-swapping stations remain limited.

Now that the prices have been revealed, are you ready to shift?
